Thank you for breaking this down. The fact that I have had to actively look up the candidates for the upcoming election has been so conflicting. On one hand, it means so much more work will be involved to learn where everyone stands prior to placing my vote in the upcoming elections. On the other hand, people, especially Democrats, have been motivated to take political action into their own hands. This may also be a signal that the public does not trust their direct political representatives to take tangible action since so many are taking the initiative of running for president. Just thought that was interesting.

Agreed. This information is so helpful – I am not too adept in this department and should know more about politics. I am so hopeful that a powerful Democrat will win the election. There are no words in terms of how Trump has disgraced this country & ruined so much of the progress made by Obama.

“Who is running for 2020? Everyone you know that has appeared in the newspaper more than once.” All jokes aside, it is crazy to see so many candidates signing up to run. What I am most worried about is that some of these people will divert votes away from the Democrat and thus allowing Trump to have an advantage over whoever he is competing against. I hope that does not happen, and I look forward to see who will actually win at the end!
